my gigabyte desktops still refer to Windows 10 as the bios operating system even though my Z690 AORUS master. the gigabyte brand motherboard was being sold on amazon.com as a Windows 11 operating system OS but its bios never added windows 11 to it under bootup options still shows it as windows 10 only in name? software for motherboard has two different websites for the same hardware at aorus.com and gigabyte.com but gigabyte site lists a lot less than aorus.com for the same motherboard and build Z690 AORUS MASTER rev. 1.x when in fact it seems that the current BIOS update still only lists

    :)

Thank you for the suggestion, I have updated to F11n as suggested and will report back my findings.

It's a sporadic problem that doesn't always appear; I can have 10 games without issues, and then have 10 games where it crashes in a row. Last night I ended up with a 3 or 4 game streak without any crashes.

when I had it temp reads a bit different around 29c with the Intel UHD graphics off but again that one video game was not working correctly so I did end up turning it back on in the BIOS, and the CPU can read from 30 to 34c with it on, the temperatures on the new case seems to read more better, my older one still says it has a temperature of 24c to 27c but the newer pc seems to show more accurate temperatures I guess. the higher Multi Thread is good right, than a lower number, I am guessing since I don't output to the intel built in 3D card that it doesn't need to be enabled by default like AORUS z690 master motherboard had it turned on default, I also set it to auto which it seems to keep it enabled with the NVidia card, but when disabled it then the CPU gets a higher number for both Single Thread and Multi Thread from CPU-Z app which I think is good if I am understanding the information correctly. also, as you can tell maybe from my images of it. It's just too big to go under my desk, my older cooler master fits under it but this new one ended up being too big and too long, I put wooden shelfs under it for now, so it not sitting directly on my carpet itself. also, there no way I can fit it onto my top of my desk either since again it's just too big, it's a good design for a computer but not for my current desk which I used with my older gigabyte desktop was able to fit below it but not this one.

Intel Core i9 12900K @ 4900 MHz - CPU-Z VALIDATOR (x86.fr) link to the one where I had the Intel UHD enable in the BIOS.

I had turned the built in Intel(R) UHD Graphics 770 (Alder Lake GT1) card off, since we installed an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (GA104-302) @ 1845 MHz card, it seems the processor stays a bit cooler if the built in one is off,

if I am reading the information from CPU-Z correctly.

below is what I set to disabled for now, again I have the display port for the gigabyte M28U 28" monitor which is a 4k display with HDR connected to the nvidia card, same for my 1080 tv set using the HDMI connection on the new nvidia card.

the drive which seems to need the iGPU turned on is the

    AORUS Gen4 7000s SSD 1TB Specification | SSD - GIGABYTE Global

which I have installed on my new motherboard, my older pc only had the other style drives for years, but I wanted one of these SSD drives for the Windows 11 install this time. the benchmark app in question when the IGPU was disabled in bios gave the hard drive a bad reading compared to the results when it's turned the iGPU on in the BIOS. the performance seems to be affecting it so I yes that the Intel(R) UHD Graphics 770 is needed for that hard drive to work correctly maybe?? not really sure about it.

one thing I was unable to turn on in the BIOS is that memory to set it to XMP 6400 settings, I tried and it failed to boot, I had to go and reset it to the 4800 for now, not sure if I tried something wrong, or if the memory was just sold as 6400 and that the gigabyte z690 AORUS master cannot set it correctly, as it runs on DDR5-4800 by default, and the box for the memory has it as DDR5 6400 which is in the page for gigabytes compatible memory, also I have it updated to the latest stable bios for it, but again I get a message when I tried to set the G.Skill memory to it, I had to reset it to defaults and either boot or reboot, like what was displayed on my older gigabyte but this time it was because I tried to enable the 6400 40-40-40-76-116-2 in the XMP profile for DDR5 6400 in the z690 BIOS but again the system would not boot that, so I guess its stuck at 4800 for now, also since seems stable and I think if I understand that XMP profile thing in the BIOS that it's an overclock settings to get memory to go up to 6400 but again that's what the box of the memory was sold as so it should of worked but didn't boot it in this motherboard I got. also, it displays 04 currently I think it has something to do with fast boot which I think it turned on by default or it just boots very fast into windows 11. before turning off the built-in intel 3D card, it did display A0 or something like that on its digital display on the motherboard, but since everything seems to be working fine, I am guessing that number code on it doesn't affect its usably. I don't really want to overclock anything in my new pc if it can be helped. below is some of the pages for the stuff I got in this new build.

GIGABYTE AORUS Gen4 7000s SSD 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 also got from amazon.com we had to find a second amazon seller since the first one had to delay to the end of the month so my dad canceled that order, not sure if it wasn't a 3rd party seller but my dad was able to get that corrected when it was never shipped the second item came on time from an amazon prime seller only took like one week for it to show up and was shipped to us.

    G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin SDRAM DDR5 6400 (PC5-51200) CL32-39-39-102 1.40V Dual Channel Desktop Memory Model F5-6400J3239G16GA2-TZ5RK (Matte Black) at Amazon.com

this is the amazon item for the memory I had my dad order 2 of them so I could max it at 64GB of memory, again I am unable to set it to 6400 in the motherboard it was unable to do that it seems, so for now I guess its stuck running at 4800 for all 4 memory sticks. I don't know if I would of noticed the difference since its faster booting than my older pc was in any case.

ok so I may have made a mistake not sure, I was pretty sure I found it on the list but this time I was un-able to find its matching information. which might be why I can't set it to 6400 I may of made a mistake about it, it seems to be usable, but I don't think this number is on the list but might be why I again can't get the bios to set it to that below is what is showing up today on its list of support DDR5 memory.
