Windows 10: Your pin is no longer available

"Your pin is no longer available due to a change in the security settings on this device"I've hit countless forum after forum on here and microsoft support gives the same recycled answer that doesn't work. The whole shift restart into the command prompt does not work as it just restarts and asks for a password for the Microsoft account. Which I typically log in with a pin. However even when I did enter the accurate pass ,Then it doesn't even take the accurate password. Reset my password just to make sure. Entered the new pass. Still nothing. Went password less to password less keys and I s

Do you see a link for Sign In Options at the bottom of the Sign-in Screen. Choose that and select the key or password choice, use password to sign in.

When resetting Windows 10, get a message "Your PIN is no longer available...", whether TPM is cleared or not.

When resetting Windows 10, get a message "Your PIN is no longer available...", whether TPM is cleared or not. I'm stuck trying to reset Win10 (and delete all files).

Steps followed were: 1) started Win10 reset. 2) at 8% complete, got message asking whether to clear TPM. ( I've tried it both ways and gotten same PIN problem).

3) Get a message: "Your PIN is no longer available due to change in security settings on this device." When I click on change PIN, get a message: "The User Profile Service service failed the sign-in. User profile cannot be loaded."

Any suggestions to complete a reset and disk clean are appreciated.
