    "Your device ran into a problem and needs a restart. " this happens whenever i am shutting down my Laptop after using it for sometime, and it quickly restarts, and then when if i shuts it down, no error occurs. This has been happening since last 2 days, i haven't installed and updates, i have restored the updates to before that as well, the error also rarely happens when i am done gaming, and just closes all the apps i am running, no idea what's causing it.

    Random shut down and restart??

    Computer: Intel (R) Pentium (R) Dual cpu
    E220@2.406hz
    2.42 GHZ, 2.00 GB of RAM
    Windows xp

    Ever since I replaced the fan (with heat sink) the computer has randomly shut down and then restarted, at first during streaming, and now, will shut down and restart anytime. I tried to replace the graphics card to no avail. *Confused Your device ran into a problem and needs a restart. WHEN SHUTTING DOWN :confused:*Mad Your device ran into a problem and needs a restart. WHEN SHUTTING DOWN :mad:

    One suggestion was to replace the RAM.

    Any suggestions on how to repair my computer?
