Windows 10: XONAR SOUND CARD issue and mic not working suddenly

Hi, I am having this issue with my XONAR SOUND CARD showing the following error "This device cannot start. Code 10" and I am having a lot of trouble finding the correct solution online that is`nt years old. I have checked the event log viewer and it is showing "Device USB\VID_0B05&PID_180F&MI_00\7&e6f8db&0&0000 had a problem starting."All the info for both these two are show in the pictures provided. The reason I came across the error in the first place was because my microphone suddenly stopped being picked up. It registers it on the sound manage

ASUS Xonar Sound cards

im using Uni Xonar drivers in Win 10 and it works fine (albeit it lost the sound card in device manager with build 10122; a reinstall of drivers got it working again)

Rear Mic not working for both on board sound and sound card

EDIT*** the front jack is no longer picking up audio but is detecting a device presence(as it should).

I have uninstalled/reinstalled drivers for the last hour. messed with every setting, tried different chipsets. For whatever reason the rear mic jacks are not working on either the Mobo or dedicated audio card.

The real kicker is when I plug the same mic in to the front port it works. The front jacks on the tower are plugged in to the dedicated sound card. This all started in between the 15th and 21st. Was there a bad update or something?

Asus xonar u7 usb sound card

is it worth to buy asus xonar u7 usb sound card? Can i get real 5.1 ch audio output from this sound card? Please help to find out
