Windows 10: Xiberia Headset Stopped Working

I see a lot of questions about the Xiberia headset stops working and no driver being available.The only fix that worked for me is to go to device manager and uninstall the USB ports that the dongle is plugged into, let the USB port reinstall, and restart your computer and my Xiberia headset started working again. For some reason it's like the driver gets corrupted on the USB port it's installed to and needs to be reset. I hope this helps someone!

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, for anyone looking at this, I wouldn't know if this works, because it seems that Xiberia has discontinued their drivers for this device. It is strange, because the microphone works fine on my phone and PS4, but I suppose that computers need that mic driver.

If I had any advice to give to someone with a V20 Xiberia headset - worth keeping if you plan on mainly or only using the microphone on a Playstation or a phone, or if you won't use it at all. Otherwise, I would recommend returning it. I guess this was a lesson in checking Amazon reviews more thoroughly.

1. Update hardware drivers in Windows to the latest (Right click on Start > Device Manager > Right-click on the drivers to update)

2. Go to the Xiberia headset manufacturer's official website to update and download the driver.

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue
