    Xbox 360 Kinect drivers not installing.


    I've recently been gave a Kinect for the Xbox 360 so I could use it for Virtual Reality full body capture. I've been trying to install the drivers but to no avail. The most amount of drivers that have actually installed are 2/5. I'm not sure why it's like that and any help would be appreciated. I'm running Win10 Home on Version 20H2, newest updates installed.

    xbox one and kinect 360 games

    We recently purchased an xbox one s and the xbox one Kinect sensor. I also purchased my kids xbox 360 Kinect games. Will these games work on the new Kinect one? Do I need to purchase an adaptor? I am so confused. When I search for xbox one Kinect games
    nothing comes up but the xbox 360 Kinect games.

    To answer your query, Kinect for Windows is only programmed to work on Windows computers. Xbox consoles like Xbox One and Xbox 360 can use Xbox Kinect specifically programmed for each of them.

    Last week, someone else on this thread helped me realize that I never put the specific Kinect that this driver is for. This driver is only for the Kinect for Xbox One, not the Kinect for Xbox 360. Which Kinect do you have? If you are trying to get the latest
    driver for the 360 it won't work.
