  2. Error In WSD Port driver

You are correct. There are serious bugs in the WSD port provider, which in my case misidentified an HP CP5225 networked colour printer as a monochrome device which could only print in grayscale. It proved impossible to modify these settings using WSD.
The only solution was to delete the printer and re-install completely manually, specifying an HP TCP/IP printer port, while rejecting all offers of an automatic set-up.

Win 10 keeps changing my printer static IP port to WSD, already turned off windows printer management

Have seen this problem on a few machines. WSD takes over as the default port from a port based on a static IP. When someone prints there are no errors except the printer prints nothing. Best advice I have seen for manually added printers is:

Control Panel -> Device and Printers -> Add A Printer -> The Printer I want isn't listed -> Add a printer using a TCP/IP address... -> change "Device Type:" from default "AutoDetect" to "TCP/IP Device".

That key last step may prevent the dreaded WSD port being added as an available port. Enter the IP and continue the installation. I tried adding an existing printer twice, one with AutoDetect and one with TCP/IP Device. The AutoDetect install showed up
as WDS, and the TCP/IP install showed up with static IP in the port and no available WDS ports listed.

Hopefully that method works for most cases.

    Error In WSD Port driver

I think I found a solution to one of the most posted issues about printers and Windows 10. I found a bug in the WSD port provider. After frequently having the commonly described issue where Windows 10 says the printer is offline when it isn't and the vendor
software sees it online, I've traced it back to a WSD issue. I tested on three different computers with different wifi enabled printers that use WSD. When I install my printer fresh (as in it is not current installed as a printer) it is correctly identified
on the IPv4 address that is displayed by my printer. If I goto the printer properties and select Web Services the webage show an IPv4 address. However after I experience the issue and I return to the printer properties the webpage address is an IPv6 address.
My Wifi router doesn't fully support IPv6. If I am able to delete the printer (which isn't always a simple thing) and reinstall it goes back to the IPv4 address. Then the issue repeats.

I can solve this in one of two ways and the problem is eliminated. I can either change the port type in the printer properties to a Standard TCP/IP printer port or I can disable IPV6 in the network properties of the Wifi Adapter on the computer. Both solve
the problem without recurrence. This is a bug in the WSD provider software for Windows 10. The unfortunate thing is that I have Pro versions of Windows 10 and I can manipulate a lot of these settings. I don't think you can muck with printer ports or networks
this way in home versions which is what most of the users with this issue have.
