Windows 10: Wrong SHA1 calculation for KB5049614

Hey guys I am reaching out because I am really unsure if there is a tampered security update or figure out what went wrong. To fix CVE-2025-21176 vulnerability I want to install recent security patch for this. Went to Microsoft update and download the security patch.Before install I do the hash check. But when calculate the hash I always get a different value. I see the hash value calculated is in the filename but the download page shows a different hash value.Do anybody else experience this? Is there a solution Any thoughts Ideas?

I think this is a step in the right direction. I use Calculator daily.

 

CALCULATOR GIVES WRONG RESULT

Again I would tell you that simple calculators don't follow what one might expect.

To complete your work on the example you provided ((1600 x 50%)/2 = 400) you must do it the following way:

• calculate 1600 x 50%
• press "M+"
• Press "C"
• Press "MR" then press "/2"

It is a pain to use most simple calculators which is why I rare use them except for basic calculations like adding a column of numbers etc.

Some of the reasons why the calculator app will not work properly are: the program encountered a corrupted system files, virus and malware, and another application is conflicting with it.

We suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the calculator. In doing so, you will have a fresh copy of the application which will eliminate the issue. Here are the steps:

• Right-click on the Start menu.
• Choose Command Prompt (Admin).
• Allow the application to make changes, Type in Powershell then, click
  Enter.
• Type in Get-AppxPackage *windowscalculator* | Remove-AppxPackage then, click
  Enter.
• Type in Get-AppxPackage *windowscalculator* | Add-AppxPackage then, click
  Enter.
• Restart the computer after the process and try accessing the menu of the calculator.
