    Working fix for nvlddmkm.sys page fault in non-paged area


    Hi,


    A few days ago I was upgrading an old laptop to Windows 10 for donating to a school. After the upgrade I was randomly experiencing lot of BSODs during startup but there was one common culprit; nvlddmkm.sys an Nvidia driver component. After trying a lot of possible fixes including deleting the driver and installing manually from the Microsoft catalog update or using an older driver did not yield any result. Finally I was able to resolve the issue with one simple fix but with one tiny caveat.


    The issue was resolved when I disabled Nvidia Display Container LS service during startup.


    1 Go to search and type msconfig

    2Go to services tab

    3 Disable Nvidia Display Container LS


    Doing this will disable Nvidia Control Panel but the graphics card will work.


    I did not get any bsods after doing this. Hope it helps.

    Creator Update Paging in Non-Paged Area

    I did the Creator update for Windows 10 today, and since then I've been getting consistent BSOD crashes due to page fault in non-paged area, where I was getting no BSODs before. I'd like to fix the situation and not just do a rollback, but if that's the best step I'll go ahead and do that.

    Page Fault in Non-Paged Area BSOD

    While installing windows 10 even before the setup started this BSOD of page fault in non paged area pops up and I am unable to install it.The same problem with other Windows OS installation.
