    Won’t let me type in letters from my recovery key id


    How do I type in my 32 digit recovery key Id? It has letters and numbers but it’s only letting me use the function keys to type in numbers. It won’t let me type in letters. Please help!

    My caps lock won t turn off

    I'm typing a letter in word, it was fine then started using all caps it won t turn them the usual way

    BitLocker Recovery Key and Key ID

    Thanks for your reply, I am still unclear on where this number comes from. Can I see this Key ID on my devices? I have my Recovery Keys and that is a no brainer but these 8 digit/letters Key ID is confusing. Whenever I have ever needed to use the Recovery Keys, in the past, I had to input the whole 48 digit code.

    Bitlocker recovery key. can't type letters, numbers only

    Hi,

    Dell XPS, Pro Windows. Installed resent windows update and after re-start received Bitlocer recovery screen asking to enter Bitlocker Recovery key.

    Can't type the letters of the bitlocker recovery key, only numbers. Any known solution?
