    Within a year my Dell laptop, and now my Lenovo laptop have gotten the window system uninstalled, this is actually the second time in my Lenovo, once in my previous Dell. Why is this happening? Last night I was watching a show for hours, which I have been watching for a few weeks now when all of the sudden I got this message: " Please select boot device". Now my laptop is dead and I have to pay one more time to get my windows back.

    Is this a new laptop?

    I don't think it is malware , but rather advertisement from your PC manufacturer.

    I suggest open Control Panel and under Programs and Features, check list of installed program and uninstall Lenovo one which you don't want or believe to be the program you are referring to.

    link     contains an article by Andre Da Costa, wherein he listed on how to determine if the PC is compatible with the Windows 10. Please check if your Windows 10 has now the version 1709 by pressing
    Win + R then type winver. Select your OEM on the list and check if Lenovo has an update for the drivers on your laptop. You may also need Lenovo to assist you if there's an update with your laptop's system BIOS.
