Windows 10: Wireless Network Adapter Driver Won't Reinstall

I updated my wireless network adaptor driver today earlier today and after I restarted my computer the network adaptor completely stopped working. I am on a laptop with built in network adapter. I'm running Windows 10.After the driver update, the Wi-Fi access button completely disappeared and I was only able to toggle Bluetooth. I then went to device manager and I received an error from the wireless adaptor driver so I decided to uninstall it and the let Windows reinstall the factory version to see if that would fix anything. I’ve been having an issue with my wireless network adapter connecting to the internet and someone suggested I uninstall and reinstall the driver, how do I do this?

Method 1:

Step 1: Update network adapter driver from the device manager by following the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.

• Press Windows key + X keys on the keyboard and click on
  Device Manager from the options.
• Expand the Network adapters from the options.
• Right click on the wireless network card and select Update option.
• Restart the computer and check if the changes are effective.

Step 2: If the issue persist, I suggest you to uninstall the network adapter driver from the device manager by following the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.

• Press Windows key + X keys on the keyboard and click on
  Device Manager from the options.
• Expand the Network adapters from the options.
• Right click on the wireless network card and select Uninstall.
• Restart the computer for automatic installation of network adapters and check if the changes are effective.
