Windows 10: wireless keyboard 850 doesn't work

    Hello I just purchased wireless keyboard and mouse 850 the mouse is working fine without any problem the keyboard doesn't work all it does is turning the green led on when putting the battery then it turn off after 5 to 10 sec , tried another laptop the same thing , installed the latest drivers

    Windows wireless keyboard 850 update

    My Microsoft 850 wireless keyboard and mouse have been working for the last 2 years on Window 8.1 with no issue. Today Windows asks me to update my wireless keyboard driver. I download and install MS Wireless Keyboard 850 Update and Mouse and Keyboard
    Center 11. Run MS Wireless Keyboard 850 Update steps until it asks me to remove the battery from the keyboard without any issue. Put the battery back in, hit a key on keyboard as it asks. Nothing happens. Mouse and keyboard are dead. Unplug and plug the USB
    receiver back in, Windows prompts "the USB device not recognized". Plug the USB receiver to another computer, get the same "the USB device not recognized" error. I try to be a good user but Microsoft wireless keyboard update fails me. Sad. What can I do to
    fix this? Thanks.

    Good day!

    So sorry to hear that you lost your USB trans-receiver of your Microsoft wireless keyboard 850.

    You have to buy a new set of the Microsoft wireless keyboard 850, you can not buy only the USB trans-receiver for the Microsoft wireless keyboard 850.
