Windows 10: Winget "No package found matching input criteria."

This is on a clean install of Windows 11 the Win10 to Win11 just kept failing with all updates. Winget gives "No installed package found matching input criteria." error when I try to update my applications.

When I try to use winget to update my packages, this happens:

PS C:\Users\ASUS> winget upgrade --all

No installed package found matching input criteria.

I tried the only fix on the internet and this happens when I use it (with admin privileges):

PS C:\Users\ASUS> winget source reset --force

Resetting all sources...Done

PS C:\Users\ASUS> winget upgrade --all

No installed package found matching input criteria.

Only winget upgrade outputs this:

PS C:\Users\ASUS> winget upgrade
No installed package found matching input criteria.

This problem started occurring after I made a system reset keeping personal files and deleting all applications from settings.

My operating system is up-to-date, rebooting didn't work.

winget list shows my installed applications perfectly fine.

No other problems with winget other than updating.

At first, it is not working with the latest dev build. Powershell would give an error for winget upgrade or the list of apps (red).

I think we can try to reset winget by command, and if that doesn't work we can also try to uninstall and reinstall winget.

run in an elevated PowerShell window to reregister the package:

After the command is complete, update the software package again.

In addition, you can try to create a local account and log in to the system using the new account to see whether the software package can be updated under different account configurations.
