Windows 10: Windows won't shutdown when disk is GPT partitioned

I have windows 10 64bit on my machine with UEFI and the HDD is partitioned in GPT mode. The problem is it never shuts down fully, only the monitor turns off, but not fan, lights and hard disk and it freezes randomly and restarts with BSODs often. And yesterday I happened to use my old hard drive on the system which was partitioned in MBR mode but surprisingly shut down fully and runs without any freeze/BSOD. I'd like to know how to fix this problem to use the GPT partitioned HDD again.P.S:I have already tried. 1. turn off fast startup/hibernation2. windows troubleshooting3. startup repairs and

1. You cannot convert mbr to gpt without data loss. otherwise, you can follow directions here:

FROM WINDOWS RECOVERY CONSOLE:

To change a master boot record disk into a GUID partition table disk using a command line

• 
  Back up or move the data on the basic master boot record (MBR) disk you want to convert into a GUID partition table (GPT) disk.
  
• 
  Open an elevated command prompt (right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as Administrator) and type diskpart. If the disk does not contain any partitions or volumes, skip to step 6.
  
• 
  At the DISKPART prompt, type list disk. Make note of the disk number you want to convert.
  
• 
  At the DISKPART prompt, type select disk <disknumber>.
  
• 
  At the DISKPART prompt, type clean.
  

2. I'd suggest converting your vista drive to a virtual machine, load that up on your windows 10 system and use a program like virtualbox to run it.

I don't see the Data Disks in the Windows Explorer

• Disk 0: 450GB / NTFS / 4 Partitions / used as Windows Home Server OS Disk
• Disk 1: 4TB / GPT / Used as Data Disk
• Disk 2: 4TB / GPT / Used as Data Disk
• Disk 3: 4TB / GPT / Used as Data Disk

What I actually have

• Disk 0: 450GB / NTFS / 2 Partitions / used as Windows 10 Pro OS Disk
• Disk 1: 4TB / GPT / Used as Data Disk
• Disk 2: 4TB / GPT / Used as Data Disk
• Disk 3: 4TB / GPT / Used as Data Disk

GPT dilemma

Yes. I'm using WIndows 7 x64. I know that GPT and MBR partitioning applies to the entire disk, but Win7 won't install on pre-pariotioned GPT-marked HDD, and Linux wont install, if there is already 3 NTFS partitions + boot.
So, I've decided to go with my old setup: leave 2 windows partitions and utilize the rest in LVM for linux.
