    I cannot scan from my Brother Printer to scan from my new laptop with Windows 11 version 24h2. I contact Brothe Surpport and they told me to contact Microsoft Support, see email below.     Thank you but no that isn't the problem unfortunately. I can print. I've uninstalled and reinstalled twice - Brother have done it 3 times. It detects the printer not a problem, it's just not allowing the scanner driver to be installed properly

    Scanner on Brother MFC-465CN refuses to run - printer works fine.

    Trying to get the scanner on my Brother MFC-465CN to run, but having no luck at all.

    Have tried all solutions listed on this thread (Redirecting) - but cannot get the scanner to work. Had no trouble getting the printer to work.

    The Brother MFC-465CN machine is connected via USB cable to my computer. I am running Windows 10 Home - 64bit version 21H2.

    • I have tried installing numerous drivers, checking the scanner after each installation, without success
    • tried running setup programs normally, as well as in 'Compatibility mode' (compatible with Windows 7 - as well as running them as Admin.)
    • tried disabling my firewall
    • tried keeping the machine off & unplugged until just before driver was installed
    Any new help or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Windows 10 does not allow scanner on Brother MFC 8460N

    I have now HP laptop with windows 10 home. It does not allow me to scan from my printer Brother MFC 8460N. Previously I could scan from windows 7.Need updated driver. Brother wont provide driver for scanner on MFC 8460N or no support.

    However Brother MFC 8460N can print from windows 10. dont know how to fix the scanner driver for windows 10
