System Information says Edition: Windows 11 Pro; Version: 22H2What do i need to do if this is true to update it? Doesn't look like the update button is even working.All suggestions appreciated....

That's what I'd suggest. As long as you use a legit key (& no cracks) you can get the ISOs anywhere (MS, a friend, etc)

 

Windows 7 Versions

Try checking what version drivers are already installed, it is very likely that Windows 7 already found and installed the latest drivers through Windows Update, so it might be correct in saying the the drivers are already up to date.

In that case, it might be time to search for a new wireless card. I used to like Linksys, but over the past few years their driver department has really started to let them down.

I'm not sure where the newer version came from as Asus doesn't list that version for your laptop....maybe Windows update did it and often windows update is wrong.
