Windows 10: Windows Update is not possible & USOClient.exe is missing

Hello,I have an issue where Windows Update fails to retrieve the latest updates available. I am getting the following message: "Your device is missing important security and quality fixes."After some searching on here and with Bing AI, I found that USOClient.exe, which is located in system32, might not be working as intended. If I use PowerShell and the command PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> UsoClient StartScan I am getting the following errorrogram 'UsoClient.exe' failed to run: The system cannot find the file specifiedAt line:1 char:1 + UsoClient StartScan + ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~. At line:1 char

Since wuauclt has been depreciated in windows 10, I was googling what has replaced it.

I found that usoclient is what has replaced this command for windows update in the command line.

However none of the commands work except one

USOclient ScanInstall Wait

The startScan option kicks it on for about a half second but fails to actually scan

Here are the commands I could find

• RefreshSettings – used to quickly enact any settings changes
• RestartDevice – as the name implies, it restarts the device. Can be used in a script to allow updates to finish installing on next boot.
• ResumeUpdate – used to tell the tool to resume updating after a reboot.
• StartDownload – initiates a full download (from Microsoft) of existing updates
• StartInstall – kicks-off the installation of the downloaded updates
• ScanInstallWait – Combined Scan Download Install
• StartInteractiveScan – we’ve yet to get this one to work, but it suggests that the process may work in a GUI
• StartScan – kicks-off a regular scan

If anyone has any info on this it would be greatly appreciated.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
