Windows 10: Windows Update Error 0x8024500C

I’m trying to install the Windows 10 22H2 update but it’s stuck on this error.I went to Services and the update service is running. I went to the command prompt and ran these commands:net stop wuauservnet stop cryptSvcnet stop bitsnet stop msiserverren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.oldren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 catroot2.oldnet start wuauservnet start cryptSvcnet start bitsnet start msiserver I restarted and went back to the update section and it now says “We couldn’t connect to the update service. We’ll try again later, or you can check now. If It still doesn’t wor

One of the possible reasons why you're getting an error code 0x8024500C is due to corruption in some system files. If the given steps on the thread didn't work for you, we therefore suggest that you re-register Windows Store app. To do so, follow the steps
below:

• Click the Start Menu.
• Select Command Prompt. (You may be asked for User Account Control permissions, select
  Yes.)
• Copy and paste the following command, and press Enter key;

PowerShell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted -Command "& {$manifest = (Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.WindowsStore).InstallLocation + '\AppxManifest.xml' ; Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $manifest}"

Once done, you may restart your system. The issue that you're facing with Windows Store app should be resolved now.

Dear All anyone helps me I can't install update windows when tried to install 100% and then it said error 0x8024500c.

Hi,

As soon as I try and download it comes up with the error. It says Try that again Error - See Details

The Error Code is 0x8024500C.

I have asked IT to do all of the steps that Andre Da Costa detailed and it still does not work.

Any thoughts?
