Windows 10: Windows Update : Cannot apply 2025-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for...

Hello,I have Windows 11 PRO N 24H2 Build 26100.2894 a fresh install from a few days ago.I cannot apply the update 2025-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems KB5050009I already tried all the DISM and SFC commands.I cannot add the "Media Feature Pack" optional component either.In C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log this appears :CBS Failed to open file: \\?\C:\WINDOWS\CbsTemp\31157303_2435631525\LCU\Package_for_RollupFix~~amd64~~26100.1742.1.10 [HRESULT = 0x80070002 - ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND]

Unable to install 2024-01 Cumulative Updates for Windows 11

I've tried the Windows Troubleshooter, and I disabled Malwarebytes (I primarily use Windows Defender, so I didn't need it running as well), and I've tried restarting a couple times.

But the following two updates refuse to install, and I keep receiving error code 0x80070020 for:

• 2024-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5034123)
  
• 2024-01 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 22H2 for x64 (KB5033920)
  

What do I need to do, to get these updates to install?

I'm running Windows 11 Home (version 22H2).

Not sure if it's extraneous info but my processor is a 12th Gen Intel i7, with 32GB of RAM.

Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.

2018-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1709 for x64-based Systems (KB4056892) - MS Surface 3

I have an MS Surface 3 (Not Pro) running Windows 10 Pro for Workstations, v1709 (Build 16299.15). When I search for updates, it wants to install 2018-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1709 for x64-based Systems (KB4056892). It fails with Error
0x80070002.

I tried manually downloading the Delta and Cumulative updates and installing manually, but they fail stating it is not for my system.

How can I either:

• Get this update to install, or
• If it is not compatible, tell Update to not install it and ignore the update?

I have tried:

• Clearing the SoftwareDistribution folders and Catroot2 several times
• Running the Windows Update troubleshooter
• Every step in troubleshooting including try to run the Media Creation Tool
• Factory reset, including deleting all files and apps

After the Factory reset, updates applied but it again failed on 2018-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1709 for x64-based Systems (KB4056892) with Error 0x80070002.
