Windows 10: Windows Update 22H2 reboots computer when "working on updates" reaches 9%

My computer is running windows 10 x64 OS Build 19045,4894, and Winver tells me I already have 22H2 applied to it. I don't know why, but about a week ago, I started getting prompted to install new updates when I already have 22H2. If I select "Begin Update Now", the computer takes about 3 minutes to shutdown, and reboot. A few minutes later, the "Working on Updates" shows up on the screen, and it takes about 50 minutes to reach 9%. The computer at this point reboots, and the "Undoing Changes Made to Your Computer"appears, That takes another 30 minutes, and then the computer restarts.Whe

Windows Update suddenly hangs?

Windows Update is suddenly hanging for some reason... I went and downloaded and installed the first bunch of updates, restarted when asked, and now when I go back to windows update I just get the window with a white box forever. Reboot and it still does it. This happens to be on my main machine, running windows 7.

I've also noticed when I reboot it says configuring windows update, step 3 of 3, 47%. Maybe it somehow skipped something and is screwed forever?

 

FIXED!! Windows 7 sp1 never ends searching for updates

Ok I did another reboot, disabled windows update service, did step 3 again, this time it installed an update, enabled windows update service and did a reboot and voila!! *Peace eace:

 

KB5034441 Security Update for Windows 10 (21H2 and 22H2) - Jan. 9  

I performed Windows Update again yesterday, and everything seems to be good.

However, when I checked disk management, the recovery partition was empty (100% free space).

My question is: where was KB5034441 installed? And why does partition 1 (450MB) have 96% free space? What is 4%? Thank you very much for your help *Smile
