Windows 10: Windows Task View pop up by random mouse movement

I have been using Logitech MX Master 2S for many years and it was working very well with Windows 10 until recently days after the Windows updates.. all in a sudden, the task view screen frequently pop up and disrupted my work. Extremely annoying. I searched on the web for answers and help and tried many different methods but it was just a waste of time. Eventually I suspected it could be my mouse driver not compatible with the new update of Windows 10. I tried to disable all the "smart" button functions but it was not helping neither. I eventually took out the MX Master mouse and switched bac

TIP: Unknown mouse movement invokes Windows 10 task view.

I recently experienced seemingly random switches to task view that began after a Windows 10 update. I searched the web for answers and came upon this Redirecting , which described my problem exactly, but the responses provided no solution. Ultimately, I realized that I had replaced my Microsoft mouse at about the same time with a Logitech M720 and it has a "hidden" (Logitech's term) switch at the thumb position near the left bottom edge that is intended to toggle task view. This switch has a very light touch and nearly imperceptible tactile feedback and I was unaware of its existence and that I was inadvertently pressing it. The switch was not identified in the information provided with the product. I hope others who may have had a similar experience will find this post.

 

Unknown mouse movement causes task view to pop up randomly in windows 10

Hi. How can one either disable this rather annoying feature or find where there is a description of what causes it. I can be working away and then some seeming random mouse movement or action causes Windows to pop up a task view. It drives me nuts and
I cant figure out what causes it? Windows 7 did not have this annoying feature.

I know on Android some devices have a secret command where if you move your finger in a L shape or inverted L it causes different screens to appear. Is it possible windows 10 has something similar for mouse that is causing my problem? It happens on different
computers throughout the day so its not a hardware issue it some sort of new feature I am sure.

Task View Like Screen Constantly Pops Up


The screen shown below keeps constantly popping up on my computer interupting whatever program was running. This happens even if there is no mouse or keyboard movement. The blank windows shown open up windows apps such as the store, news or sport. I don't know what this screen is called and google is not been my friend. Please can someone tell me how to switch it off?
