Windows 10: Windows server VMs licensing

HiI have server with 2 16-core CPUs onboard and Vmware hypervisor installed on it.What kind and number of licenses I have to buy in order to run Windows Server 2019/2022 as virtual machines inside it?If I buy Windows Server Standart licenses for 32 cores, what number and versions standart/datacenter of Windows Server VMs I`ll be able to run on this server?

Licensing Legacy Windows Products on a VM Server

Hello,

Can someone from Microsoft confirm what licenses would be needed to fit the following use case:

• Need to license legacy as well as current Windows products (XP, 7, 10)
  
• The VMs will only have one user account that gets used, but would be utilized by multiple developers in our org
  
• The VMs would be hosted on a physical server and would be accessed through RDP

Windows Server 2016 Standard VM Licensing

Hello

I have a physical server that I already installed windows server 2016 on and activated using an OEM license.

If I create 2 VMs using hyper V, can I activate the 2 VMs using the same license key I used to activate the physical server with?

Second question, if I need two additional VMs, can I buy another Oem license, to activate the other 2 newly created ones and have a total of 4 activated VMs ?
