  1. Windows Security identifies Powershell as Trojan. What do I need to do to resolve this issue?

I thought I solved this problem about 2 weeks ago. But unfortunately this issue has once again persisting where Windows Security will identify Powershell as Trojan. It keeps saying "Threat removed or restored", and what makes the whole thing strange for me is this same problem pops up at a fixed time at 2:04, 6:04, 10:04, and this on both AM and PM.Detected: TrojanWindows Security identifies Powershell as Trojan. What do I need to do to resolve this issue? :powerShell/TommyTech.CStatus: Removed or restoredThis threat or app was removed from quarantine or restored to the device.Date: 11/24/2024 6:04 AMDetails: This program is dangerous and executes commands from an attacker.Affected it

    Windows powershell randomly popping up.

    Hi Fabian,

Scheduled tasks that use Powershell can cause the Powershell window to appear periodically on your computer. We suggest that you check the Task Scheduler.

    • Click on Start.
    • In the search bar, type Task Scheduler and click on
      Task Scheduler
      in the results.
    • Under Active Tasks, check for any tasks that use Powershell and the scheduled time.

Malware can also cause this issue. We suggest that you use Windows Defender or a third-party security software to scan your system.

Keep us updated with the results.

  3. Windows 10 Photos app doesn't run.

    Hi,

Incompatible software installed in your PC can conflict with Windows apps and cause performance issues. We can suggest several troubleshooting steps to isolate and resolve the issue. As an initial recommendation, you can run the

    Windows app troubleshooter
. This will identify the cause of the issue and provide you further suggestions for troubleshooting steps.

If the issue persists, you can uninstall the Photos app and reinstall it by doing the steps below:

    • Type Windows PowerShell in the search box at the taksbar.
    • In the search results, right click on Windows PowerShell and
      Run as administrator.
    • On the Powershell prompt, type: get-appxpackage *Microsoft.Windows.Photos* | remove-appxpackage.
    • Press Enter.
    • Once uninstalled, you can reinstall the app from this
      link
      .

Let us know if the suggestions above worked for you.
