    At Multiple Sites we just noticed today, the traditional method of users changing the password does not seem to be working on RDP.When a user is on a computer regularly, hiting Alt+Ctrl+Delete would bring up the option for a user to change their password. On a RDP session the work around was Alt+Ctrl+END to bring the option up.Recently we noticed on remote sessions the RDP workaround no longer brings the option up, this was tested on multiple machines on multiple sites and its the same everywhere. Even the on screen keyboard method does not workChecked and no GPO's appeared to have change at

    Hi Eashwar,

    About your concern on enabling password protected lock screen, follow the steps below:

    • Go to Settings > Click Accounts.
    • On the right panel select Sign-in options > Under Password you'll see the option to add password.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions.

    Hi Kenneth,

    To have a better view on this concern, are you referring with Lock Screen timeout? If so, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

    • Click on Start menu.
    • Go to Settings.
    • Click on Accounts.
    • Under Sign-in options, click on Lock screen.
    • Go to Screen timeout settings.
    • Change the value under Screen.

    Also, no need to create a pin code since you already have your Microsoft account password. You can sign in using your account.
