Windows 10: Windows not wanting to install when linux in the same drive

So when i was installing windows,for some reason after the Installing updates phase it would show an error that read something like: "Windows cannot proceed with the next boot phase of the installaiton,Please restart the installaiton." and then i got kicked to the Install Now screenI tried it with mutiple isos,but same thing,so it was not the ISO`s faultI decided to format my ssd to have no OS in it and suddenly windows could install?Was it Lubuntu`s problem that windows couldn't install,but it was in 2 seperate partitons and it also could read the drive since the other steps workedMicrosoft,w

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

Partitioning Hard Drives to run windows and linux

Hi All,

I have a tower with two hard drives. Until now I have been running windows on the first drive and using the second drive as backup. Now I reformatted the backup drive and installed Fedora Core. The installation was successful but how do I get the computer to boot from that drive? I'm in the BIOS and I see where the windows-platform drive is listed as my primary. I scrolled up to this line in the BIOS and tried pressing the spacebar, the return key, the left and right arrows but nothing will change the windows drive to the linux drive.

Can anyone tell me precisely and specifically how to make this change? Help is much appreciated. Thanks!
