Windows 10: Windows not installing updates after blue screens

My laptop blue screened, and I ran an automatic repair to fix it, and it deleted some recent updates. When i tried to run some programs they ran very slow. I went to check my drivers or any updates I noticed there was an update available, but when i tried to download it it did nothing. The download button is there and it says that im ready to install it, but it does nothing when clicking it. The update is Intel Corporation- Display - 30.0.101.2079

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
