Hello,as the title says, im trying to access the advanced boot menu CMD option, but whenever my pc restarts into it and asks me for an admin account to log into, it says it cant find any. However when i normally boot the pc, i can log into my account which has admin priviledges just fine, ontop of that i created another local account with admin priviledges to see if thatd help, and it doesnt show up either.Whats worse is that i was able to use the advanced boot up just fine a few hours ago.I was going to change my system drive from MBR to GPT with the provided windows tool, so i checked it out

    :)

  2. Cannot acces admin Account, Password could not be accessed

    Hi,

Here are a few steps you can try to regain access to your main admin account:

    1. Use System Restore: You can try using System Restore to roll back your system to a previous point in time when your main admin account was accessible. To do this, boot into Safe Mode with Command Prompt, and type "rstrui.exe" to launch System Restore. Select a restore point prior to when you made changes to the drive letters, and follow the prompts to restore your system.
    2. Use a password reset disk: If you created a password reset disk for your main admin account before you encountered this issue, you can use it to reset your password and gain access. To do this, boot your computer from the password reset disk, follow the prompts, and create a new password for your account.
    3. Use the command prompt: You can try using the command prompt to reset your main admin account password. To do this, boot into Safe Mode with Command Prompt, and type "net user [username] *". Replace "[username]" with your main admin account's username. Follow the prompts to create a new password for your account.
If none of these steps work, you may need to consider reinstalling Windows.

No longer have access to admin email account

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

We understand your concern as you are looking for an option to access the Microsoft admin account but you don’t have access to the associate Microsoft email account
that the admin was set up with.

When you say "I no longer have access to the email account that the admin was set up with" are you not able to login to Windows PC and does the PC has any other admin user account.

However, this is to inform you that due to security policy, if you don’t have access to the email account that you used to setup the Microsoft admin user account, then unfortunately you won’t be able to access the user account unless
you remember the password/pin you have setup.

If you don’t remember the password of the email account, then you can reset the password on
    https://account.live.com/ResetPassword.aspx

If you still have issues in recovering the account, then we would suggest you to fill the
ACSR form for recovering the account

In addition, you can also refer this article to
Reset or recover your Microsoft account password
