Windows 10: Windows moves files and desktop icons to the recycle bin when I click to access them

I'm using a Lenovo Yoga running Windows 10 Pro, all recommended and optional updates are installed. Last new application installed was RealVNC approximately one month ago. Was working well then randomly began moving all desktop icons to the recycle bin as soon as I click on them. At the same time displaying a pop-up window saying "XX interrupted actions" where XX is a number anywhere between 12 and 50, all of the items in the pop-up window are File Delete confirmations. Other issue is that when I try to create or edit any text file MS Word usually, text auto-deletes to the right of the curso

Missing desktop icons and recycle bin

No problems on the current Windows 10 on three computers I have running dual screens. Desktop Icons only appear on the primary screen.

All icons including the Recycle Bin not showing. The Recycle Bin could be the cause.

There was a bug / glitch during the Insider Preview builds that would flash up a message saying the Recycle Bin was corrupted or missing.

It seems that the Recycle Bin attempts to build a list of recycled files on all the drives on the computer. If the recycled files id is out of sync, that caused the bin to fail.

Suggest:

Copy some files; then delete them; then reboot and see if the Recycle Bin appears.

 

Recycle Bin always moving on desktop

Hello,

My 'recycle bin' icon keeps moving around on the desktop. All the other icons seem to be stationary on the left side of the desktop--but I like the 'recycle bin' on the lower right side. Several times a week it will migrate to the other icons. The issue
started after the Windows 10 Creators update. I use medium size icons with the 'align to grid' option. Auto arrange is not selected. Any suggestions why the one icon moves?

Recycle Bin is a temporary storage that contains files that have been deleted but not yet permanently erased, allowing you to restore these files. To show
Recycle Bin on Windows 10 desktop, kindly follow these steps:

• Go to Control Panel by pressing Windows + X
  and clicking Control Panel.
• Click Appearance and Personalization and go to Personalization.
• Click Change desktop icons and check the box beside Recycle Bin.
