Windows 10: Windows lost activation status after latest update? 07.12.2024

Windows lost its activation status after latest automatic software update. A new update came on the same day and removed the watermark, but system settings still tells me its not activated. Everything seems to work fine so far. Troubleshooter is absolutely useless and only tells me to buy the activation key. I dont have the original activation key myself, because the computer came with everything preinstalled and already activated. Is this a problem with update? Will this cause me any problems?Here are the updates:2024-11 Cumulative Update Preview for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 1

Failed to install on ‎07/‎12/‎2017 - 0x80070643

When I view update history, it states:

2017-11 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1709 for amd64-based Systems (KB40519630

Failed to install on ‎07/‎12/‎2017 - 0x80070643

Yet my Update Status says "Your device is up to date. Last Checked etc".

When I look in the Uninstall Updates List (KB4051963) it is there with the installed on date.

So either the Update History list has not been updated to show it has successfully installed

or it has been added to the Installed Updates list in error.

Confused as to which it may be. Any ideas please?

 

Windows won't let me install a 2024/07 Cumulative Update

Is there another solution? These 2 options did not work for me.

I have error codes:

Install error - 0xca020008 - 2024-07 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64 based systems (KB5040527)

Install error - 0x800736b3 - 2024-07 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 23H2 for x64 (KB5039895)

 

Lost Planet updates

CAPCOM is about to release a few updates for Lost Planet on August the 16th. Two of these updates have been known for a while, but now it seems that two more updates are also being added. One of them is called enhanced DX10 depth of field. Which will give you a better illusion of depth perception. The second update is a new default messages system that will be added for multiplayer, lobby, and after a match.
