Windows 10: Windows keep revert to the old version of graphics driver

The latest version of my graphic driver is IntelR Iris R Xe Graphics Version: 31.0.101.4577, but the windows keep using the old version which is IntelR Iris R Xe Graphics Version: 30.0.101.1994. I tried many ways to prevent windows revert to the old driver version but is not working. The only working method is revert to the old windows version, but it keep notice me to update to the latest windows version. So to solve this problem is it better to stay in old windows version or other working solution?

Windows keeps installing an old graphics driver

Hello team Microsoft,

I have been facing this issue from last 1 and half year. I followed almost every possible step to stop windows from installing an older version.

I tried to make settings in device installation settings checking that option to 'NO', Whenever I resets my windows/laptop, I hopes this issue will get fixed but no again the same problem. I installed AMD Radeon Software with latest version, but after the installation process is done windows revert the graphic driver version to "27.20.21034.37" which is more than 1 year old. I read all the support pages along with expert solutions but still cant found the correct solution. I reported this problem to AMD also on support page and from the dedicated Bug Report Tool but there was no reply from them. Though my laptop is a mid-end laptop but still I have big craze for gaming and gaming with outdated drivers may surely give a decrease in FPS. Also one thing windows only revert the version when I clicks on Check For Update, later windows reverts driver version by itself the next day checking for new updates. And this happens only with AMD graphic driver, other HP device drivers are still being installed by HP Support Assistant and other AMD drivers are also being installed along with graphic driver but they are not reverted. So why partiality with Graphic driver only. Please help me with this and provide a solution ASAP.
