Windows 10: Windows is treating my Gaomon PD1161 Graphics tablet like a touchpad/mouse.

Self explanatory. Instead of my cursor following where my pen is going normally, it acts more like its being moved with a mouse. You know how you can move your cursor somewhere with your mouse, pick your mouse up, then put it back where you started and the cursor won't jump back to where it started? That's what my graphics tablet is doing. Instead, I have to drag the cursor around instead of it just moving along with my pen.I have installed new drivers several times. Done several restarts. Please just someone have a fix.

Gaomon Pen Tablet

I have purchased a Gaomon Pen Tablet for using in Paintshop Pro. It works perfectly with Microsoft Paint but this doesn't have all the features that Paintshop Pro (PSP) has and is just basic software. The Pen tablet is not working properly in PSP it works
with some tools but not others and doesn't work at all in Particle Shop. I have been advised on the Corel Forum to uninstall it and disable Anti-Virus, shut down the internet and go into the device manager and remove all pen and Tablet drivers including the
Digitizer Driver. Now this is were it gets tricky I have no idea what I'm looking for in the device manager and am I going to compromise my computer by messing about with things I don't understand. Could anyone help with this or do I just forget about the
device manager and not use the tablet in PSP.

PS There is a pathway from the Gaomon Driver to PSP so it is meant to be run in that program.

 

installing a driver for Gaomon Pen tablet

Hi I have just purchased a Gaomon Pen tablet and have to download a driver which I have done and extracted the files but now have had a message from Windows Security to say that my internet setting suggest that one or more of the files may be harmful to
my computer, I would be interested to hear what your thoughts are on this?

I want to disable touchpad on Dell laptop


Hello everyone,
My laptop's touchpad works and I don't want it to, because I prefer a mouse. It's a Dell Inspiron 11 3000 series on windows 10 OS.

What I have tried that hasn't worked:

• start<settings<devices<mouse & touchpad<additional mouse options. This opens a window called Mouse Options which has 5 tabs up top, none of which involve the touchpad. The Hardware tab shows 2 devices: the mouse itself, and the USB. No touchpad there.
• windows key+x<mobility center. No touchpad to be found.
• various function keys. No options for touchpad on/off.
• device manager<mice and other pointing devices. Again, only the mouse and usb show up. It appears the touchpad is working without a driver, which is a little spooky.

Any other suggestions? I could try downloading a third party driver, but that seems like a step in the wrong direction.
