Windows 10: Windows HDR Calibration App is crashing at the last step every single time.

Every single time I try to use the HDR calibration app on the Microsoft store, it crashes at the final step, right before you're able to save and finalize your colour profile. My main display is a LG C2, and is rated for HDR usage. In fact, I was using and making profiles with the HDR calibration app earlier this year, but now it's ceased to work. I recently made a fresh install of Windows 11, after building a new PC, and I've been grappling with this issue ever since. For the record, I wasn't dealing with this issue earlier this year, in regards to the time before I fresh installed Windows 11

the checklist didnt help. your settings app is broken. there are no sample videos to calibrate from. just a black screen

There could be a few reasons why the HDR calibration option is missing when you switch to your dGPU or turn on HDR. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

1. Check if your graphics drivers are up to date.
   
   Go to your laptop manufacturer's website and download the latest graphics drivers for your laptop's iGPU and dGPU. Install the drivers and check if the HDR calibration option appears.
   
2. Check if your display supports HDR.
   
   Not all displays support HDR. Check your display specifications to make sure it supports HDR. If it does not support HDR, the HDR calibration option will not appear.
   
3. Check if your display is set to the correct color profile.
   
   Make sure your display is set to the correct color profile. Go to Settings > System > Display > Advanced display settings > Display adapter properties for Display 1 > Color management tab. Check if the color profile is set to the correct one for your display.
   
4. Check if the display is set to the correct resolution and refresh rate.
   
   Make sure your display is set to the correct resolution and refresh rate. Go to Settings > System > Display > Advanced display settings and make sure the resolution and refresh rate are set correctly.
   
5. Try using a different HDMI or DisplayPort cable: If you're using an external monitor, try using a different HDMI or DisplayPort cable. Sometimes a faulty cable can cause issues with HDR.
