  2. Game bar capture doesn't record audio anymore

The fix is still likely there. Game bar recording fixes are eventually going to fix only Game Bar audio not recording. I assure you if you work through those fixes the problem would have been solved.

Zeroing in on only Game Bar audio not working there are fixes here:

This is an interactive process. I give steps to perform, you do each one and then report back results until something works, so I know what to suggest next. If you need help performing any step, just ask back. But please do not skip any steps. We often find out the skipped step is the fix.

Feel free to ask back any questions. Based on the detailed results you post back, I will have other suggestions if necessary.

  3. Game bar capture doesn't record audio anymore

What do you need me to tell you? I have told as much as I know about the issue, and I am trying to cooperate with you but the fixes that you are giving me are not specific to the issue, which I am going to restate:

Xbox Game Bar does not record system audio, only video, and this is probably due to the use of the Razer sound card which I am using with my headphones. I am wondering if there is a fix for this issue or whether I will just have to work around it.

These are things that I have already done from your previous responses:

    • Enabled 'All' audio to record
    • Turned on 'Record audio when I record a game'
    I have also attempted to:

    • Reset all Xbox apps
    • Re-register the Xbox Game Bar
    • Uninstall and reinstall the Xbox Game Bar
    These were all unsuccessful.

Any other link (Game Bar not recording at all, Game Bar not capturing microphone audio, Game Bar not working completely) was unrelated.

  4. Windows Game Bar Capture audio bug

Xbox game Bar capture audio delayed

    Hello there,

I understand you're encountering audio and video synchronization issues when recording videos using Xbox Game Bar on Windows 11. I'm here to help you troubleshoot and hopefully resolve this issue:

    1. Check Recording Settings:
      • Launch Xbox Game Bar by pressing Win + G.
      • Click on the settings icon (gear icon) on the right side of the overlay.
      • Under "Capture," review the audio and video quality settings.
      • Ensure that "Record game audio only" is unchecked if you want system audio in the video.
    2. Update Graphics and Audio Drivers:
      • Outdated drivers can lead to synchronization issues. Make sure both graphics card and audio drivers are up to date.
    3. Adjust Video Frame Rate:
      • Increasing the frame rate to 60 fps could potentially alleviate synchronization issues. Some users have reported success with this adjustment.
    4. Consider External Software:
      • If the problem persists, consider using third-party screen recording software like OBS Studio. It offers advanced settings that might help with synchronization.
    5. Background Processes:
      • Ensure no resource-intensive apps are running in the background that could affect recording performance.
    6. Hardware Acceleration:
      • Adjust hardware acceleration settings in your graphics card control panel, as they might impact recording.
    7. Record to High-Performance Drive:
      • Recording to a fast storage drive, such as an SSD, can enhance recording performance and synchronization.
Remember that audio-video synchronization can be influenced by various factors, so finding the optimal solution might require a bit of trial and error. I hope these steps guide you toward resolving the issue.
