  1. Windows does not boot completely

Greetings everyone, I thank all of you in advance, even if you only read this.

My Computer decided yesterday that it is that time of year again and now my Windows does not

Lets go through the booting process: https://youtu.be/6mxkAmdeOHE

I press the On-Button. Screen shows me "ASUS" and the option to go to Bios. Screen shows me "ASUS" and tries to load Windows, I assume. Screen black. Screen darker then black again. Reboot.

Now I only have one ASUS Stage in wich I get my Option to go to Bios again Then ASUS preparing the diagnosis, now comes the flash with the terminal, and then the actual diagnosing PC screen and then I get into the automatic repair menu of Windows 10. I tried to get into Windows through safe mode: Crash. I uninstalled the latest quality update: nothing changes. Can't load a System-Restore point because apperently I don't have one.

Now, I have a theory but I would like some "Professional" advice on this problem. My father had one of theese "PC-Sticks" wich have only a HDMI male output, a normal USB-port and two Micro USB ports, one for power one for connections. He had a simillar problem two years ago. So I grabbed the stick because he did not use it and tried to play on Linux on it. But beforehand I had a connection of something like 30 seconds from the Device to my Computer by USB, but with no log in in the PC-Stick.

What if the Stick had a Virus or Trojan and now my PC got it. Is it even plausible? If yes do I have any Chance of getting rid of it? Why program a virus that keeps you from using your computer with no demand for ransom? I remember those.

And what if it's not. What might it be? I'm out of Ideas.

I thank everyone for reading through this and for your upcoming Help, i'm quiet desperate at this point.

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond Windows does not boot completely :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.
