Windows 10: windows didnt load correctly

Hi, every few days, while my computer is not active, I get a looks windows didnt load correctly recovery blue screen. It appears to come on when the computer is not actively being used. I have updated all my Dell AIO software, drivers, etc and still happening. Could anyone please help?

Windows 10 not loading correctly.

‘Windows didnt load correctly’ replace hdd?

Hi there, please can someone help.

2 weeks ago my Toshiba Satelite computer (6 years old) switched off and then when trying to switch on it went to ‘windows didnt load correctly’ blue screen. I tried all the options including all the command prompt options, reset to certain point, diagnostic
fix, and nothing worked. Just keeping looping on boot. Eventually i did a full reset of the computer and it worked.

Now(two weeks later) it happened again but this time to get to the ‘windows didnt lod correctly) i have to press f8 otherwiae it keeps loopong in the boot screen. This time however, it keeps giving me an error when trying to reset the computer and none if
the other options work.(literally tried everything)

my laptop was windows 8 but upgraded to windows 10 in the time between the crashes.

my question is, is the hdd basically dead and should i replace it? Also if i replce myself then how do i get windows operating system back onto it for free? And do i install the original widows 8 os or the upgraded windows 10 os that i upgraded?

Please if anyone can help, driving me nuts. Cheers
