Windows 10: Windows Defender

How can I stop windows defender from quarantining files I need ?I have listed the files as OK. They do have some good tools that can get detected as virusesI want to stop that.Microsoft is usually wrong about infected files. Plus, the fact they quarantine files I need, is a problem.Shutting off defender does not help. All the other antivirus I run are fine, just Microsoft's.please help !Thanks

Windows Defender problem

To troubleshoot this issue, we suggest that you check the Windows Defender service if it's running. If you are using a third party spyware/malware program, it may disable the Windows Defender service. To do this, please follow the steps below:

• Press Windows + R key.
• Type services.msc.
• Right-click Windows Defender service and click
  Start.

Windows update and windows defender issues

We suggest you to avoid installing any cleaner or anti-virus software that may interrupt the function of Windows Defender. Make sure that Windows Defender is always on. To do this follow these steps:

• On the Start menu, type Windows Defender and hit enter.
  
• Click Settings.
  
• Turn Real-time protection on.

We also recommend you to install the latest update for Windows Defender.

I would suggest you to open Windows defender and add exclusions and check if it helps. Follow the steps to add exclusions in windows Defender.

• 
  Type Windows defender settings in the search bar and press enter

  Under Exclusions click on Add Exclusion
