Windows 10: Windows defender can't find virus

Windows defender can't find virus, and chrasches my computer when scanning for viruses. And it fills C to the brim, And I can't delete files, when it restarts after manually or now frequent chrasches. All files that have been deleted is restored. I can delete files for a while but if I'm trying to install anything the files are back. It even block a Windows defender root scan. And I can't use Recovery, Update or make an usb memory stick for startup, since the virus seem to block those options. Can I make a USB startup stick from another computer, to recover my computer? Since that seem like th

That depends on your own preferences and habits.

Windows 10 comes with in-built AV Windows Defender.

How does Windows Defender compare, in quality, to other anti-virus?

Not a very sensible choice of wording, IMO... There's no One Size Fits All and we don't do any kind of polls/ratings here in MC.

Suggestion to educate yourself by doing some researches by using your favorite search engine.

I would suggest you to try the below methods and check:

Method 1:

I would suggest you to run virus scan to make sure the computer is free from virus.

The Microsoft Safety Scanner is a free downloadable security tool that provides on-demand scanning and helps remove virus, spyware, and other malicious software. It works with your existing antivirus software.

Method 2:

Turn the Defender on. Follow the below steps:

• In search, type Defender.
• Now make the option ON by moving the slider accordingly.

Method 3: Run the SFC.

Follow the below steps:

• Open Command Prompt.

• Select “Run as Administrator”.
• Type “sfc /scannow” without quotes and hit
  Enter.

Now check for the issue.
