Windows 10: Windows Boot Manager adding extra entries causing Windows 11 to not boot.

It seems that the Windows Boot Manager is getting extra entries created which is causing the systems not to boot. We follow these steps to fix the laptop:Once in the recovery menu:Hit the Troubleshoot optionClick Advanced Options you may need to put in the bitlocker keyClick Command PromptType "bcdedit" then hit enterDO NOT MESS WITH THE WINDOWS BOOT MANAGER or bootmgrLook under the Boot Loader sectionsI believe the original should have a path that looks like " \WINDOWS\system32\winload.efi " and the system root should just say " \WINDOWS "I believe any copy should say " NEWOS" in it's pat

New Secondary Drive Causes Boot Failure Windows 10

For the second time now, Windows 10 failed to boot after initializing and formatting a spare drive (using Windows Disk Management). After the boot fail, UEFI boot settings were still set to boot from Windows Boot Manager, but it still wouldn't boot, just goes into diagnostic mode, fails to repair boot problem, and goes to the repair menu. In advanced options I can then load a recent image (made with Windows 7 Backup and Recovery in control panel), and everything goes back to normal. My question is what causes this problem, and how do I repair it without re-imaging Windows? I don't recall ever having this problem in other Windows versions, only in Windows 10. Anyone else notice this problem?

I was having a slow boot issue on my Windows 7 install a little while back. It would take about 30 - 40 extra seconds to boot up for whatever reason.

I would try following these steps, while this didn't solve my issue, it did increase Read/Write to where it should be.

In the end, I had to reinstall my Windows 7 entirely to fix the booting issue. It was taking around 35 seconds to boot, and after the fresh install it takes about 7 seconds to boot.
