    Windows boot is completely broken


    When performing a CPU heatsink upgrade, I returned to find that Windows 10 kept returning a BSOD with error code 0xc0000001. I found that my secondary data hard drive had become disconnected due to a broken SATA power connector, so I reconnected and turned it back on. Same result. I even reset the BIOS and that didn't fix anything. Finally, I downloaded the Windows 10 ISO and went into repair mode, but when I clicked Repair Startup, it failed and outputted an error file seen below. From what I can gather in the logs, Windows has switched the letters of my primary 500gb drive supposed to be

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
