    When I try to install Google Drive in my new Samsung Galaxi Book 4 with Windows 11 home, I receive a message that Windows architecture is not supported.What can be done?

    "Windows architecture is not supported" Cannot download Google Drive for desktop on Surface Pro 9 Windows 11.

    Downloading Google Drive for desktop from chrome works until I am asked to allow Google LLC to make changes on my computer. I hit yes and immediately get an error saying "Windows architecture is not supported"

    This is a new computer. How can I download Google Drive? I use a shared google drive in my lab to upload files, data, images, etc. and have to use Google Drive because that is what the lab uses.

    EDIT: It looks like the only way to do this is to use rclone or something similar, but it looks like rclone solves this for me:

    Hi, I'm Elise, a fellow user like yourself and I'd be happy to help with your issue.

    Unfortunately I have seen other users as this before and it appears that Google are refusing to support the ARM process which is in your device.

    The only alternative they offer is to access Google drive via the web page.
