Windows 10: Windows 8.1 won't boot after dualboot with Windows 11

Discus and support Windows 8.1 won't boot after dualboot with Windows 11 in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; So I installed windows 11 with Rufus windows to-go option on an external drive and set my bios to firstly boot from external devices.     Windows 8.1 won't boot after dualboot with Windows 11


    So I installed windows 11 with Rufus windows to-go option on an external drive and set my bios to firstly boot from external devices. Which works great...But upon a restart, windows 8.1 which is on my internal drive, fails to boot with a BSOD loop saying "INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE" but it boots just fine in safe mode.The only way i've been able to "fix" it is by reinstalling windows 8.1. Nothing else i've tried so far works, including startup repair, chkdsk, sfc scan and bootrec fixes.BIOS is UEFI & Secure boot is enabledThis is the way i want the setup, if someone has experience with the

    DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .

    You mean dual boot? Do you have 7 and want to add 8 or visa versa? Either way it works. Nothing special about it just a few easy steps. Partition -> Windows installation -> reboot.

    You can go to win + r -> msconfig -> ok -> and there choose boot tab and look what OS is there and also you can check in win + r -> diskmgmt.msc -> ok -> and look in partitions
