Windows 10: Windows 11, version 23H2 repair version-Download error-0x80004002/Windows Installation Failed

I have a 1 year old laptop with Win 11 Pro Installed. I have tried repeatedly to get OS updates for the past 2 months, trying all of the tips found in this forum. to my knowledge, I have not gotten any OS updates for about 6 months, although other updates work fine including security updates. I was in the Insiders program, but turned that off 2 months ago when I first noticed the upgrade wasn't happening.Here is what I've tried:1. Manually resetting windows services2. Deleted old SoftwareDistribution Files3. Ran SFC Scannow & got an error -Windows Resource Protection could not start the

Download error 0x80248007 - 2023-11 Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2

I get Download error 0x80248007 on 2023-11 Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB4023057) This is a new PC and I clicked retry and nothing happens. How to fix? - - - Updated - - - Ok NVM, Fixed I had to install the other updates before installing this one. All works now.

 

Windows 11, version 23H2 (repair version) the Downloading has been stuck at 79%

I thought I could reinstall Windows 11 using the new app I see in the setting named, "Windows 11, version 23H2 (repair version)". But after clicking the download button the Downloading has been stuck at 79% for over 3 hours. I also notice that nobody else on YouTube has suggested using Windows 11, version 23H2 (repair version) to reinstall apps and files.

I have tried using the Windows 11 iso file to reinstall Windows 11 but last time I tried and gave up on this approach there was no option to keep all my apps. The only option left was to keep my files. I found this pointless as I back up my files on an external drive.

Does anyone have a solution to this or am I just not wating long enough for the downloading?

It's ok now, the problem got solved. When I ran the Windows 11, version 23H2 (repair version) it did not prompt me to Restart Windows. I found out that after I restated my system Windows 11, version 23H2 (repair version) was still installing and the whole instillation was over in about 45 minutes.
