Windows 10: Windows 11 taskbar covers the bottom of Office365 applications

There are already 2 other posts with this question. One is locked and the other is discussing the situation that the taskbar autohide feature seems not to work when Excel or other Office 365 application is maximised.My situation is that autohide is off, but when I maximised Excel it uses the full screen, including the section behind the taskbar, so the tabs etc at the bottom of the Excel window are hidden.I've checked the registry settings in the original locked thread and, as far as I can tell, mine are identical. I've also tried turning the taskbar autohide on and off with no change in behav

• Restart File Explorer or re-register the taskbar package
  
• Install or uninstall the latest Windows updates or drivers, particularly the display driver
  
• Check for app notifications and disable those for apps causing taskbar to not hide. Disable "Show badges (unread messages counter) on taskbar apps") if applicable
  
• Run System File Checker in Windows
  
• Start your PC in safe mode in Windows
  

If none of these steps help, it may be a possible bug that affects some users and applications. I recommend that you send feedback about this issue to Microsoft with the Feedback Hub app by pressing Windows logo key + F at the same time on your keyboard. The Feedback Hub app lets you report any problems you encounter while using Windows 11 or Windows 10. You can also send suggestions to help us improve your Windows experience.

As a workaround, you can try the following:

1. Opening the Start menu so that the taskbar can hide automatically

2. Unchecking "Show flashing on taskbar apps" in Windows settings.

Hi

I have the same question as a previous post but there is no clear answer, Could someone please support fixing this issue?

Basically when Excel is maximized, the task bar (which is set to AUTOHIDE), does not go away.

Interestingly, when the task bar is NOT SET TO AUTOHIDE, then when you maximize EXCEL it will show the full excel sheet including bottom.

So the issue seems to be only due to TASKBAR on AUTO HIDE.

problem statement: When TASKBAR AUTOHIDE, does not work when MS Application EXCEL is maximized.

Really appreciate it.

Windows 11 taskbar covers the bottom of Office365 applications

I'm using WIndows 11, when I maximize an Excel by dragging the window up gainst the top of the monitor or by selecting the "maximize" icon in the upper right, all the Excel tabs are hidden behind the taskbar and I am unable to fix this, what can be done?
