    Windows 11 storage Pool WD-Black


    Hello, I installed m.2 SSD chip WD-Black which was found in Storage space, or Storage pool I could say, but it isn't detected in "My PC" folder, can someone help me fix this?

    Windows Manage Storage Spaces

    Dear Windows Team,

    Are there any list of drives which are supported to use manage storage spaces.

    As I have 10x 5TB WD My Passport Drive all drives shows error while creating for pool like the listed drive doesn't support the pool option.

    Then which drives should I use?

    Any suggestions!!!

    After deleting 2.5" SATA laptop drive from Storage Spaces pool, and deleting pool, drive no longer visible in DIskpart or disk management afterward

    Rebooted, no help, no sign of formerly good drive appearing in either diskpart (with subsequent 'list disk'), and, no trace of it in 'disk management'...

    As this drive is in a 5.25" Icy Dock bay, shutdown, tested another 2.5" SATA in dock, no issues. Shutdown, reinserted WD drive, no sign of it!

    Suggestions, other than concluding 'removal of drive from Storage Spaces pool and deleting pool via Storage Spaces menus may be a permanent drive destroyer/nuker'? Windows 11 storage Pool WD-Black :)

    I have a pair of WD Red Plus 12 TB drives on order I was planning on making a Storage Spaces mirror with, but, color me skeptical after this experience...

    How to remove a bad drive in Windows 10 storage spaces pool

    Could someone list the steps involved in replacing a bad drive from a Windows 10 storage spaces pool? I cannot find any info on the Microsoft support site that is specific to Windows 10. Also, could you list the steps to remove a 'good' drive and replace
    it with another drive if the process is different?
