Windows 10: Windows 11 Show Desktop Icons from Taskbar?????

Windows 11 Show Desktop Icons from Taskbar?????I have to work with 6/7 windows open at any one timeIn Windows 10 Taskbar I added a setting to Show Desktop Icons with one click so I could open additional items without keep minimising then reopening all 7 windows.I cant find this option in Windows 11???

Remove Linux Desktop Icons

I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.

 

Will Windows 11 reestablish the "Show Desktop Icons" in the taskbar option?

Will Windows 11 reestablish the "Show Desktop Icons" in the taskbar option? The feature is available in Windows 10 but not 11. To be clear, it is the function where all your Desktop Program Icons, File Icons and any other Icons that appear on your Desktop can be seen in the Taskbar at the bottom of the screen the whole time. This gives you easy one click access to all your favorite programs and files all the time. Great feature and I don't know why you got rid of it!

Problem with desktop icons

This issue could be caused if the Desktop Icons are hidden.

1. May I know, if you are aware of any recent changes made to the system after which you are facing this issue?
2. Which version and edition of Windows is installed on the computer?

I suggest you go through this articleShow, hide, or
resize desktop icons follow the steps, if the icons are hidden, you should get it back.



If you want to pin any icon to desktop you can check

Pin apps and folders to the desktop or taskbar and you can easily access them from the desktop screen.



If you still face the issue, reply to this post with more information.
