    Windows 11 Settings window won't stay visible, automatically minimizes


    Windows 11 22H2 22621.1992Over the last few days, the Windows 11 Settings window automatically minimizes within 2-3 seconds of focusing on it. I've restarted the computer many times and logged in with different local user accounts and the problem continues. I'm unable to find any direction on how to resolve this. The only mention of the issue I found was at the following link, but it does not seem to apply to my particular situation, and the application event log error mentioned in the associated Microsoft discussion thread could not be found:https://www.tenforums.com/general-support/139892-se

    Store Settings "Update apps automatically" won`t stay switched off. WHY?

    In Settings in Store I set "Update apps automatically" to Off.

    When I go back in again it`s set back to On. Why won`t it stay switched Off?

    How do I get this stupid **** to DO WHAT I TELL IT and SWITCH OFF?

    What`s the point of having a Setting that you can`t Set?

    Store Settings "Update apps automatically" won`t stay switched off. WHY?

    Hi H. G.,

    The possible reason why Update apps automatically turn back on is that the Store app is running in the background. We suggest that you turn off the Store app. This way, it won't receive any updates or send notifications unless opened or turned on
    manually.

    To turn off Store app, follow these steps:

    • Click the Windows logo, then go to Settings.
    • Click Privacy, then Background apps.
    • On the list, locate Store and toggle it off.

    Windows 11 Settings window won't stay visible, automatically minimizes

    SEtting up automatic updates for windows defender on windows 8

    I have found this on the internet en have set up a task for automatic definitions update for Windows Defender but a window pops up when this starts to run.
    Is there a way to set this without any window popping up so that it just runs in the background?

    Now I'm using
    "C:\Program Files\Windows Defender\MpCmdRun.exe" -SignatureUpdate -MMPC
