Windows 10: Windows 11/ Problems with my audio headset connection Poly Savi 7300 Office

Poli Savi 7300 Office headset does not work with Windows 11 PCI am using a Poly Savi 7300 Office wireless headset. The headset is wireless, the base is connected by USB to the computer. This is a direct connect with no hub or docking station in between.The headset is connected to a HP Elitebook 830 G9 running Windows 11.Previously the headset was working on my HP Elitebook 820 G3 running Windows 10.The headset registers as Connected in the Poly software app Poly Lens and I see the headset in Device Manager. However, no sound comes from the headset and when I plug in the headset, the computer

Windows 11/ Problems with my audio respectively headset audio

I have problems with my audio respectively headset audio (Poly Voyager 4320) since I use Windows 11.

My windows audio settings does not switch to my headset and back to computer audio when i switch on and off the headset. I have to switch it back manually.

After unplugging the headset, i have the possibility to use my audio settings without selecting them manually.

Otherwise, I should check manually everytime which settings to be used.

Do you have any idea how to fix this issue.

 

Audio Problems

Hi there SimonWildZX, I will be your Independent Advisor for today, I hope we can both resolve your problem.

May I suggest to completely uninstall all Audio drivers listed in the Device manager including the headset. Please make sure to completely remove.

Here is how to do it.

Here the steps to completely remove a Device off your computer.

Step 1. Use shortcut keys Win + X on Windows 10.

Step 2. Select Device Manager.

Step 3. Expand the entry Sound and Audio devices. Right-click the problematic device and select Uninstall device.

Step 4. You may need to check the option Delete the driver software for this device, and then click the Uninstall button.

Step 5. Reboot the computer.

Repeat the steps in all the Audio devices listed.

Then reboot. then test the headset again.

 

Bluetooth Headset will pair & connect, but wont turn into an Audio Device @ Windows 10

As you can see in the picture, Windows thinks that everything is "working correctly"





And I definitly know that they did work a while ago, when I last worked with them, but now I can't get them to show up as Audio Device anymore.

I have tried everything, from reinstalling the drivers (official and non-offical ones), running the Windows Troubleshooter, replugging the dongle to another usb hub, enable/disable devices and restarting pc after every of those steps, but nothing helped.

Other Bluetooth Devices such as my Controllers do work on this Dongle/PC and the Headset will connect to other Devices (tested with my mobile and laptop), but i just cant get this Headset to work with this Dongle on this PC.
