Windows Kiosk Mode Changes My Autolaunching URL

Hello all,

I followed this guide and I am trying to setup an auto-launching kiosk Edge window for my Dell Thinclient computer.

Configure Microsoft Edge kiosk mode

Whenever I enter my URL in this step here:

I am using an HTTP link, it is unsecured, and that's the way I want it. The site will only be used locally.

The site won't load and I am getting a "this operation has been cancelled due to restrictions" error, and when I check the URL in the kiosk settings, it has been changed to an HTTPS link.

How do I keep the system from changing the URL?

I've updated my win10 to the anniversary update and faced a problem, when I hit a link in MS Outlook 2010, the following message appears:

This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions

I run a search on the net, set my browser, firefox ver. 50.0.3 64 bit as default browser, MS Outlook 2010 as my default mail program, but nothing changed.
I tried registry corrections suggested in https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/310049/hyperlinks-are-not-working-in-outlook

but the problem stayed.

What else can I do?

Due to a separate issue I went to use the Event Viewer App and was greeted with the following error:

"This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer."

This error also pops up when I use attempt to use the following Windows Tools:

- Event Viewer

- Component Services

- Computer Management

- Local Security Policy

- Performance Monitor

- Print Management

- Services

- Task Scheduler

- Windows Defender Firewall with Advanced Security

My Windows version is Windows 11 Pro.

I do not remember messing around with any sort of settings that would have placed these restrictions on my PC.
