Windows 10: Windows 11 Pro DPI Scaling, affects cursor speed. At 150%, the curser also travels faster....

I recently stumbled upon this problem, that with my 32inch 4K screen, I need to set my Scaling to 125% or 150% to better see things. But then the mouse also travels faster! I use no accerleration and the mouse at 1000dpi, and I measured the travel from one screen side to the other at 100% and the travel should be at a width of 3820px oviously 3,82 inches, whichs it is, but only at 100% scaling. Now if I increase the scaling to say 200% the mouse only needs to travel half of 3,82inches, so aproximatly 1,91 inches, but the irony is, that in reality of course, itstill has to travel 3820px in widt

Dual monitors with different DPI settings do not give correct scaling

An issue with DPI scaling arises when using two different scaling factors. The screen with the lower DPI display is fuzzy/blurred (most easily seen in text).

Hardware and settings

These are the hardware and settings involved:

• 1x primary 3840x2160 27" monitor with DPI scaling set to 150% (because regular text is unreadable at 27").
• 1x secondary 1920x1080 24" monitor with DPI scaling set to 100%, displaying blurry text and images at these settings.

Workarounds

When I use the same DPI scaling on both monitors the display shows correctly. This gives two undesirable workarounds:

• Setting 100% DPI scale on the UHD screen fixes display, but makes text unreadably small on this monitor.
• Setting 150% DPI scale on the HD screen fixes display, but makes text so large I barely have any screen space left on this monitor.

Is there per chance a better solution to this problem? Is this a Windows bug or am I using DPI scaling in the wrong way?

Mouse too big - Scaling DPI 150 or more - Windows 10

I have a problem,

i have a computer monitor, 4K, 3840x2160, working on this screen requires at least a enlargement of 150%. consequently the mouse becomes 150% but I would like him( just cursor) to stay 100%,
many programs are not yet scheduled for 4K menus are very small and work with a mouse at 150 % is inconvenient.

Can you help me to get my cursor with a 100% scale, when windows is set on a 150% scale enlargement?

Mouse sensitivity issue with display scaled monitor after windows 10 1709 update

basicly windows let mouse to skip pixel to make cursor move faster. the higher you dpi scale is, the faster your cursor will be.

I guess if your dpi scale factor is 150%, your cursor speed is 150% as before.

temp walkaround that i recently figure out is changing mouse sensitivity in control panel. According to this page [Mouse Settings]
at section [Windows Sensitivity], it explains that mouse sensitivity setting in control panel is kind of mutiply a factor to your mouse speed. default is 6/11 which is 1x, it dosen't change mouse speed. if get it more than 6 you get pixel skipped, and vice
versa.

so look at the table in the link above and choose your perfect setting. For me i use dpi scale 200%, I need my mouse to be 1 / 200% = 50% as before, i can simply setting to 4/11. if no setting can be perfect rounded u can choose setting which closest to
before, or as mentions in that link, by changing registry at [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Mouse\MouseSensitivity], for a range of 1 - 20, the factor of 1/32 to 3.5 for a more percisely control. hope you find this useful.

currently, I still did'nt find any setting or descpition about this wierd mouse speed isuue, and i'm pretty sure it happened only right after i update to 1709.
